Cooling

At AiDCs we understand traditional air cooling might not suffice for the intensity of AI operations, which is why liquid cooling systems are gaining traction. Liquid cooling solutions, such as direct-to-chip cooling and immersion cooling, provide a more efficient way to dissipate heat compared to air cooling.

Temperature Control and Monitoring

Maintaining a consistent, cool temperature is essential for avoiding hardware damage and ensuring system reliability. According to the Arrhenius equation, for every 10 degree increase in temperature, the failure rate of equipment doubles.  Real-time monitoring of temperatures within the data center can prevent thermal hotspots and allow for quick responses to cooling inefficiencies.

Just as power consumption must be optimized, cooling systems also need to be energy-efficient. The use of free cooling methods, such as leveraging external cool air or geothermal cooling, can drastically reduce energy costs associated with cooling. AiDCs believes direct liquid cooling of chips or immersion cooling to be among the most efficient cooling methods in the Ai Data Center.  Being Green is not only environmentally friendly but is an efficient use of precious power.
